Rozana is back: why I stepped away, what changed and what comes next
There’s something quite surreal about saying this, but Rozana is back.
This relaunch isn’t just about bringing the brand back online or releasing new clothes. It’s the result of taking a break, getting really clear on what I wanted Rozana to be and coming back with a much stronger vision for the brand.
When I first started Rozana, I wanted it to be the tall girl brand. I wanted to create something for every single tall girl and, somewhere along the way, trying to cater to everyone made the vision blurry.
Why I took a break from Rozana
The truth is, I was overwhelmed.
I reached a point where I felt like the brand wasn’t able to grow in the way I wanted it to. Trying to be everything for everyone meant I’d lost some of the clarity around why I created Rozana in the first place.
So, a break was needed.
Stepping away gave me the space to think about the woman I actually want to design for, the clothes I want to create and, most importantly, how I want Rozana to make tall women feel.
And I’ve come back with more clarity than ever.
Meet the Rozana girl
The Rozana girl is fun.
She loves fashion. She experiments with prints, colour, fabrics and textures. She wants clothes that work as hard as she does, but she doesn’t believe practical has to mean boring.
She might want an incredible pair of jeans she can wear again and again, but she also wants the dress that makes everyone ask where it’s from. She wants a stunning leather jacket, amazing fabrics and pieces with personality.
There will always be those more essential pieces in Rozana, because we all need them. But the prints, colour and fashion pieces? That’s where you’ll really see the personality of the brand.
Rozana is for the tall girl who wants to have fun getting dressed.
Tall fashion should still feel like fashion
Being tall shouldn’t mean your only consideration when shopping is whether something is long enough.
For too long, tall women have had to choose between fit and fashion. Finding trousers with enough length can already be a challenge, never mind finding the cut, colour or print you actually wanted in the first place.
That doesn’t make any sense to me.
You should be able to want the 36" or 38" inseam and the zebra print. You should be able to find clothes designed for your proportions without sacrificing your personal style.
That’s the version of Rozana I want to build.
What you can expect from the new Rozana
This new era is more focused.
Expect the things you already love about Rozana alongside a clearer point of view: incredible jeans, statement dresses, bold prints, colour, beautiful fabrics and those wardrobe pieces you’ll reach for constantly.
Everything is designed with tall women at the centre — not as an afterthought.
And for the first time, that experience isn't only happening online. Rozana now has a physical home in London, giving tall women the opportunity to come in, try pieces on and experience what shopping feels like when the clothes were actually designed with your height in mind.
This comeback feels different because Rozana finally feels like the brand I always knew it could become.
This is only the beginning.
